What began as a search for stability during uncertain times has grown into something far more meaningful. Ms. Jing’s HFSE teacher journey at HFSE International School reflects a story of creativity, growth, and belonging within a supportive learning community.
The Beginning
Ms. Jing joined HFSE International School during the COVID period, seeking stability in a time of uncertainty. At that point, she could not have known how much the experience would shape her future.
HFSE supported her ideas, encouraged her growth, and recognised her potential as both an artist and an educator. From the start, she found an environment that valued creativity and allowed her to explore her strengths. As a result, she began to develop not only her skills, but also her confidence and sense of purpose.

What Keeps Ms. Jing at HFSE
Five years into her HFSE teacher journey, Ms. Jing shares that it is the people and the culture that have kept her at HFSE. She has had the opportunity to work on projects that inspire her, including the MTC TheatreLink collaboration and various art initiatives. In addition, she has been able to shape her own area of specialisation.
When she first joined, she described herself as shy and self-conscious. Over time, this changed. Today, she is more confident, more expressive, and more secure in her identity as an educator. She reflects that this growth did not happen overnight, but developed because she felt supported and nurtured in her environment.
An Educator with a Vision
Looking ahead, Ms. Jing remains focused on meaningful impact. As her HFSE teacher journey continues, she hopes to build platforMs. where students can discover their strengths, especially in the arts. She believes that creative expression plays an important role in developing confidence and identity.
At the same time, she aiMs. to deepen her expertise and strengthen her specialisation. She also plans to develop clearer systeMs. that support both students and teachers. Through this, she hopes to grow not only in skill, but also in leadership, clarity, and purpose.
