Student Support Services
a. The school aims to provide all students with an academic education of the highest standards through the provision of these services. The comprehensive list of student support services and programmes that are provided by the school to meet the needs of students and enhance overall educational experience is as follows (but not limited to):
• Transport Services
• Before and After School Care Programme
• Medical Insurance Coverage for hospitalization and related medical treatment for the entire course duration for all full-time students including Singaporean / PR students.
• Enrichment Classes Activities to support and enhance student learning needs
• A tuition support system and an Individual Study Plan (If any)

b. HFSE Student Support Services aim to provide holistic assistance to students to ensure their well-being, personal development, and academic success. These services are designed to nurture every child’s potential while fostering a safe and supportive school environment. Students and parents are encouraged to reach out whenever they need assistance or guidance. The following additional services are available to all students, with dedicated personnel assigned to each role:
• Guidance and Counselling
Students may, at times, need someone to talk to or consult regarding non-academic or personal matters. To support them:
o The Guidance Counsellor is available during school hours to provide professional assistance and support.
o If a student requires further support, the Guidance Counsellor will assess the situation and determine the appropriate steps to take. In cases where professional counselling is deemed necessary, the school will inform the parents and provide recommendations on how to proceed.
• Discipline Intervention
The Discipline Officer is available to assist students in understanding and adhering to the school’s Code of Conduct. Discipline intervention focuses on:
o Helping students learn from their mistakes and grow in character.
o Providing strategies to improve behavior while maintaining a respectful and supportive approach.
o Collaborating with parents and other stakeholders to address any recurring issues effectively.
• Learning Support Program
The Learning Support Officer ensures that all students receive the assistance they need to meet their academic goals. Key elements include:
o Identifying and supporting students with learning difficulties through individualized strategies.
o Developing tailored support plans for students who need additional help.
o Offering workshops, resources, and guidance for students to improve their study habits and learning skills.
c. The school undertakes the responsibility to continually improve on ensuring that all students’ welfare and needs are well taken care of and will do so by School-student engagements through the various student touch points.
